The Sacrificial Lamb Was Slain
Upon Mount Calvary;
His Precious Blood For Sin Atoned,
Poured Out In Love For Me.
All Praise To My Redeeming Lord,
He Gave His Life For Me;
I’ll Praise His Name Forevermore
In Glorious Ecstasy!
He Was God’s Chosen, Spotless Lamb
Not For His Sins He Died,
But For Our Fallen, Sinful Race:
“It’s Finished!” There He Cried.
And On That Blessed Easter Morn,
He Showed Himself Alive;
He Broke The Power Of Death’s Cold Chain,
And Calls Us To His Side.
And Now We Too Can Rise Again
To Life Anew In Him,
Delivered From Our Wicked Ways,
A Life Made Free From Sin.
He Bids Us Come To Him And Live;
No Man Should Spurn His Call;
He Is The Source Of Light And Life,
Provided “Once For All.”
